Dr. James Chiu is a Vanderbilt-trained physician with over two decades of experience in family and primary care medicine. A graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, he completed his residency at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Virginia and later earned a Master’s in Medical Informatics — also from Vanderbilt — giving him a distinctive edge in technology-integrated patient care.

Dr. Chiu has called Winchester home since 2010 and has built his solo practice around a simple philosophy: listen first, treat thoroughly, and refer only when necessary. His in-house capabilities — including ultrasound, laboratory services, and minor procedures — mean patients get faster answers and fewer hassles. Many have told him he’s the first doctor who truly listened to them.
